Hi, I’m Claire Kearns, a 21 year old Illustrator and Graphic Designer hailing from the well loved city of Stoke-on-Trent and currently living in Lincoln, where I attended university. I’m a bit of a crazy curly haired creature with a love of the letter C, illustration, photography and everything design related.
I’ve been heavily in love with the design world since I was a child, its not just a career prospect to me but a huge part of my life. Such a huge part that I can’t open a cupboard or drawer without materials, past work and collected inspiration falling out.
When I’m not designing I like to engage in online debates, read a variety of books and try cooking something new (and sometimes exotic). I don’t always succeed but I’m always eager to try again. My hunger for knowledge is extreme and I can become quite obsessed with digging up as much information about a subject as I possibly can. I also love to travel, although currently I can very rarely afford to.
I have recently been commended for YCN, featured in Burst magazine twice and been showcased on a number of websites, and I do a lot of freelance illustration for Amelia’s magazine.
I always enjoy a good discussion so if you fancy a chat, just have a question about my work or would like to discuss a future project, drop me an email. I’m always open for illustration commissions as well.
